Postage and packaging is caluculated on a per order basis, but approximatly small orders of wires, spare parts of single gloves will cost around £4 in postage, orders of single jackets, breeches or lames will cost around £8 and orders including masks will cost £11-15. Orders with very large numbers of items may end up with abarently high postage costs due to the way postage is automatically calculated. If you think this is the case for an order you have placed then contact us and we can look at it.
All products on this website are subject to availability. While we strive to provide up-to-date information relating to a product please be aware that all images are for illustrative purposes only and there can be variations in style and colour. If you can’t find a product you would like us to stock please let us know. Likewise, if you find the same product cheaper anywhere else, please let us know and we will do our best to beat it.

Governing Law The Fencing Shop is a trading name of Durham Sporting Goods Limited and submits to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the English Courts, in accordance with the laws of England.
Pricing In the event of any goods being offered for sale at an incorrect price, we reserve the right to withdraw the items from sale, at any point prior to shipping. We will contact you if such a situation arises. We will also contact you should additional postages charges apply for any order due to a system error.
Guarantee All of our products are guaranteed for 28 days. If a product fails outside this period and you consider it to have been sub standard please contact us and we will consider replacing it free of charge. We pride ourselves on the high quality of our equipment and if you feel that anything you receive is not up to the high standards you expect then please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org and we will be happy to try to help you.
Order Acceptance Any e-mail, on-screen receipt or other acknowledgement of your order is merely to report that your request has been received and does not in any way denote acceptance of your order regardless of any wording on the e-mail or the receipt.
Delays in dispatch For items that are in stock we despatch within 24 to 48 hours, using next day delivery in most cases. The exception is Favero items which we do not keep in stock instead having them shipped directly, we estimate 10 days for this process. In the case that items are out of stock we can give you an estimate for when we expect to have them available upon request.
Shortages In the unlikely event of your goods not being complete it is the receivers’ responsibility to contact us within 72 hours of the parcel being delivered. We cannot help you outside this time frame.
If you feel there is a shortage with your delivery it is your responsibility to also keep all the packaging in which the goods were delivered. If you discard these then we cannot investigate the shortfall. We cannot make a claim on your behalf with the currier without the packaging and therefore cannot re-send replacement goods. On ordering you will receive an order number. If you haven’t received your parcel within one week please check in the “My orders” section for any update by clicking on the relevant order you are tracking, then contact us immediately on email@example.com
Returning Unused Goods In the event that you are not satisfied with any purchase from www.thefencingshop.co.uk , you may return unused goods within 30 days of receipt for a full refund of the purchase price (not postage). We regret that refunds cannot be made for products that show evidence of having been used. Return shipping costs can only be refunded where we have sent the wrong goods in error .We do not give post and packing refunds for goods that have turned up late due to shippers problems/ or out of stock items. If the wrong size is ordered then exchanges can be made but shipping costs are at the customer’s expense. It is the receiver’s responsibility to return any product unwanted or faulty.
Undelivered items We give all customers the opportunity to have their goods delivered to a separate daytime address. If the item is returned to us because the product was not deliverable we do charge our delivery costs for the said items. If the receiver refuses a delivery we will only refund for the cost of goods and not for the post and packing.
Damaged goods In the unlikely event of receiving damaged goods please inform us immediately. Once the goods have been used we will not be responsible for any claims for damaged goods. We will arrange for return of goods and upon inspection will send a replacement by return of post. Please retain packaging and if possible take photos of the item to help with our claim against the courier.
Complaints In the unlikely event that you have a complaint about our site or service, please e-mail us at firstname.lastname@example.org and we will attempt to remedy the situation.
We endeavour to respond to all complaints within five days and resolve them within a further seven days.
Technical File We maintain a full technical file which includes evidence of CE test results and Certification as appropriate.
